Here at Integrative Health & Rehabilitation, we are proud to offer our practice members state-of-the-art, integrative treatment modalities to help them experience a better, pain free life. We feature natural therapies that are both safe and effective, and do not require the use of drugs or surgical intervention. Below are our most popular health care alternatives.

Chiropractic

The benefits of chiropractic care are widely known. Our practice provides timely, gentle chiropractic adjustments to people both young and old. From construction workers to office workers and golfers to Cross Fitters – we have the array of research-based techniques to offer customized care to all.

Dry Needling

Similar to acupuncture, dry needling uses very narrow acupuncture needles to stimulate specific anatomical landmarks rather than meridian points. Dry needling has been shown to help neck pain, back pain, and sports injuries as well as reducing treatment needed to rehabilitate joints after surgery.

Platelet-Rich Plasma Injections

When joints, tendons or ligaments are injured, the body responds by causing swelling around the area, allowing platelets, collagen and fibroblasts to stimulate healing. PRP injections increase the concentration of these cells in the injured area – ultimately, speeding up the body’s natural healing process.

Weight Loss

The American Heart Association estimates that over 150 million people in the United States are considered clinically obese. This means over 250 billion dollars in lost wages and unnecessary health costs. We use a natural hormone called Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (hCG) combined with a medically supervised low-calorie diet diet, Low Level Light Therapy (LLT) and personalized exercise instruction to produce fast, significant weight loss results.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is based on the Chinese philosophy belief in Qi or “Life Energy”. This theory states that this energy travels through channels or meridians in the body. When there is a blockage of this energy, that is when a person suffers from aches, pains, illness or disease. By stimulating specific points along these channels, we can restore the normal flow of Qi and relieve the person of their problem.

TP Injections

Trigger Point

Found almost any anywhere on the body, trigger points are hyper-sensitive, painful knots of skeletal muscle fibers that have become “stuck” together due to injury or overuse. We inject small amounts of natural solutions into the trigger point to reduce pain and discomfort.

Laser

Also known as low level light therapy, cold laser therapy revitalizes damaged cells by producing an impulse of light at a carefully-chosen wavelength to stimulate healing. Our practice has seen LLLT successfully help many conditions, including low back pain, tennis elbow, shingles and plantar fasciitis (heel pain).

Physical Therapy

Our physical therapists are highly-skilled in caring for a variety of ailments. Frozen shoulder, ankle sprains, lower back injuries, and balance issues are among the most common symptoms that bring people in to see us. We use a combination of ultrasound, stretching, exercise, and electrical muscle stimulation to improve range of motion and reduce pain.

Massage

Massage therapy is useful for stress relief, pain management, muscle spasm, trigger points, and circulatory problems. Our massage therapists have years of experience and offers a wide array of treatment styles.

BioTE® Therapy

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement

One of the (many) unwanted effects of natural aging is a reduction in hormone function, resulting in symptoms like fatigue, memory issues, as well as decreased sexual function and desire. Through bio-identical hormone replacement, we are able to restore healthy hormone levels. This process reduces the effects of these symptoms as well as helping to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s, breast cancer and stroke.
